Chenille

Chenille is a very soft elastic fabric with a shiny, velvety almost iridescent effect. The knitting of the chenille highlights the effect velure, leaving in evidence the hair, which is instead crushed in the weaving, cut all at the same height, and then blocked. This gives the fabric an effect that makes it very similar to velvet.
